Task 1: The importance of integrating ICT skill in teaching work

   

The Information and Comunication Technology skill has an important role to play in English subject as First Foreign Language in ESO. According to the legal framework, extracted from Education, Culture, and Sports Consell of the Generalitat Valenciana, the linguistic activity will be carried out by technological media and for this reason the digital competence will be a substantial part of the communicative competence. These technological media will facilitate the learning proccess, the self-evaluation and the oral and written part in virtual contexts.

Furthermore, ICT skill is included in the evaluation contents and criteria of each course of  ESO (First, Second, Third and Fourth) in English subject as First Foreign Language. Consequently, developing digital competence in this educational stage will be a rellevant task in teaching work given that teachers should integrate ICT content in their classes.
